🏝️ Lamma Island hike n' beach day

Hello HnT Crew! We're heading to Lamma Island for a scenic, relaxed stroll along the classic Lamma Island Family Walk from Sok Kwu Wan to Yung Shue Wan! ☀️ • Length: \~5 km (Point-to-point) • Difficulty: Easy (Paved, well-marked trail with gentle inclines) • Time: 2 - 3 hours (Depending on our pace and how long we linger at the beaches and lookout points!) • Elevation Gain: \~100 m total • Supplies: Plenty of seafood restaurants, cafes, and shops at both ends, plus small refreshment kiosks around Hung Shing Yeh Beach. ⚠️ Important Notice: Punctuality & Waiting Policy Please make every effort to arrive on time for the ferry so we can keep the event running smoothly for everyone. ⏱️ 10-Minute Grace Period: Organizers will only wait a maximum of 10 minutes past our designated meeting time at the pier. If you are running late and we have not received an update from you, we will have to board without you. Please note that the Ferry leaves at 10:20am Sharp for Sunday! ✅ Reminders: • Bring at least 1–1.5L of water • Swimwear/towel (optional, if you fancy a quick dip or break at Hung Shing Yeh Beach!) • Wear comfortable walking or trail shoes • Light snacks • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses — sections of the path are exposed) • Octopus card or cash for the ferry and local snacks • Lastly, good vibes! Additional Notes: 📝 Digital Sign-off: There will be a digital sign-off sheet acknowledging that the organizers are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the hike. ✊ Respect the Island: Lamma is home to diverse wildlife and quiet village communities. Keep noise levels reasonable through the villages, and carry out your own trash. 🩹 Safety First: First Aid is covered!
