About this event

Adults. Learn the foundations for using puppets and felt pieces with a group of young children. This early language and literacy workshop provides free professional development for early childhood educators (ECE), childcare providers, and adults currently working with young children in the community. The workshop is available to those living and/or working in Vancouver. Certificates will be issued by email following completion of the workshop. Workshops are two hours long. This workshop is now FULL. Priority for registration will be given to early childhood educators (ECE), childcare providers and adults currently working with children living and/or working in Vancouver. If you do not live/work in Vancouver, your name will be added to a waitlist and you will be notified if space is available.​ Accessibility Information VPL is committed to making our programs accessible for all. If you have an access need that we have not addressed here, please email us at [email protected]. Takes place in a programming room. The expected noise level is medium. Material such as paper handouts and felt will be used. Participants are welcome to move, stim, or take breaks as needed. The lighting is bright.
