About this event

Kids, Tweens. Join us for a fun and creative STEM activity on Thursday, November 19th at 4:30 PM! We'll go outside, pick out some of the fall leaves, and make cyanotypes or sunprints! Cyanotype paper is light sensitive paper that changes color when exposed to sunlight. When we arrange objects on top of the paper and expose the paper to light, the objects will leave behind a shadow or image. We will start in the meeting room of the library and then take a walk outside to find natural materials to make our prints. Parents of children under the age of 9 will be asked to stay with their child as we walk around outside the library. This program is for ages 6-12.
