Creatively ChIll: Spooktacular Soiree

About this event

Optional Supplies: • Paper, pencil and coloring supplies if you plan to color or create a card during our event. • Any craft you have at home if you want to make something while we chat. • Do you have a styrofoam or real pumpkin in your house? Bring it along and paint or carve it! • Do you have modeling clay at home? Sculpt a jack-o-lantern or spooky creature! • Optional family-friendly halloween costume! Activity: • Calling all witches, wolves, vampires and more! Come join us for a spooktacular craft soiree! Family-friendly costumes are welcome, but not required! • The first few minutes will be used to show off any costumes that are being worn and for friends to share what craft they brought with them to work on. • We will each be working on an activity or craft that we have with us at home! You can print and color one of the coloring pages from our coloring contest. You can make a fun Halloween card to send to a friend. You can even draw on, paint or carve a real pumpkin if you have one! The dollar store often has styrofoam pumpkins this time of the year. They are great to decorate or carve! If crafts aren’t your favorite, but you still want to be spooky and creative, feel free to write a haunted haiku, an ominous ode, or an abnormal acrostic poem! • There will be themed discussion questions while we each work on our own project.
