Targeting Opportunities in UX Healthcare
About this event
This month, UX professional Eric Schumake will provide guidance and strategies for pivoting into and/or landing your next opportunity in the UX healthcare space. We'll begin the meeting with a hearty welcome to all, and a few announcements and introductions, followed by Eric's presentation and Q&A. Whether you are already in the UX healthcare field, or are interested in pivoting into it, Eric's talk will provide you with insights that you can use right away in today's challenging UX job market. Presentation Summary Healthcare is one of the most rewarding places a UX practitioner can work, and one of the least understood from the outside. Eric will walk through what sets healthcare UX apart: designing for patients, clinicians, and caregivers at once, working inside regulated environments, and the research practices that keep products safe and usable. He’ll also share how UX professionals can bring their existing skills into the field. About Our Speaker Eric Shumake is the Founder and Principal Researcher at HXRlabs, a healthcare UX research, strategy, design, and education practice.
