Utah Indie Game Jam 2025

About this event

Hey Everyone, I'm announcing that our next Utah Indie Game Jam will be on Oct 16-18th. I was unable to find a venue this year so we'll be holding it online via our Discord (perhaps I can find a venue for the kickoff and wrapup meetings? Stay turned). We are also partnering again with GameJam+ (https://us.list-manage.com/B5oiuVQ5V3c?e=ce99a07651&c2id=ea2a60b8edf4cd093e252b9b26f92c3d). We'll be using their theme, and any participants that wish to can go on to compete globally over the following 6 months. More info on that can be found here https://www.gamejamplus.com/seja-uma-sede. We will start the opening ceremonies online at 7pm on Friday in our Discord in the Assembly Hall channel. In that meeting we'll discuss the rules and announce the theme. If you're not already part of the UtahGameDev Discord, you can sign up for it using this link https://discord.gg/WSQ5nJ3gvH. The judging and presentations will be held on our Discord as well. We will have 3D printed awards for the winners (and maybe some prizes also, stay tuned). This is a competitive game jam, but a spirit of community and sportsmanship is encouraged. This is a chance to make what you want and to polish your skills and take them to the next level. Feel free to invite your friends to make a team or go solo if you want! This is a free event.
