Between String and Brush 琴畫合璧的視聽盛宴

About this event

Adults, Seniors. This event presents a unique cultural experience blending traditional Chinese Guqin music with traditional Chinese painting. Chinese traditional musician, composer and educator Zhenghua Zheng introduces the thousand-year history, craftsmanship, and restoration of the Guqin, alongside the process of replicating ancient instruments. Concurrently, National First-Class Artist of China Xiaogang Wang creates a painting live on stage. Accompanied by the elegant live Guqin music, Mr. Wang also explains the fundamentals of Chinese painting and shares insights on appreciating collectible scholar's objects, known as the Four Treasures of the Study.
