Dystopia Nonfiction Book Club: A Good War

Adults (18+). Join us each month to discuss issues in politics and society, and explore how powerful forces are exploiting our world and dystopian imaginings are becoming present-day realities. October’s book is A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency by public policy advisor Seth Klein. Copies of the book are available in print, eBook & eAudiobook format. Book club attendees are encouraged to read the book in advance of the meeting. "In A Good War, Seth Klein explores how we can align our politics and economy with what the science says we must do to address the climate crisis. But Klein brings an original and uniquely hopeful take to this challenge. The book is structured around lessons from the Second World War – the last time Canada faced an existential threat.
