About this event

Adults (18+). Reducing Single-Use Products in Your Daily Life Single-use plastic items offer convenience but create significant environmental impacts. This presentation shares simple, practical steps you can take to cut disposables at home and on the go. The goal of this Sustainable Tucson series is to educate the public on issues around sustainability in their homes and then provide them with simple strategies they can implement to reduce their carbon footprint and conserve water. The presenter for today's Sustainable Tucson program is Donna Corbin. Donna retired from the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2018 where she was a curator. Since moving to Tucson, she has volunteered with a number of local non-profits, including Sustainable Tucson, where she has focused on the environmental effects of food waste.
