About this event

Adults: 18 and up. Join us an 8-week creative support community where artists, writers, storytellers, and makers gather to practice creative courage, share stories, and build community through art. Attendees can expect guided discussions, creative exercises, project work time, optional sharing, and connection with other creatives in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. *No artistic experience is required. Dani Moon, a facilitator is an artist, writer, and creative coach passionate about storytelling and self-expression. Her work explores themes of resilience, identity, and community, often infused with humor and defiance against life's challenges. As a Chicago native and self-taught creator, Dani is also dedicated to uplifting others, collaborating with poets and organizers to grow inclusive creative spaces. She aims to inspire culturally diverse audiences to reimagine their paths and reclaim joy amid societal pressures. Whether through a heartfelt poem, an expressive drawing, or a spirited coaching session, Dani Moon sparks connection and possibility. Creativity Hoarders Anonymous (CHAnon) is a peer-led creative support community for artists, writers, makers, storytellers, and creatives of all kinds who want to build a sustainable creative practice and connect with others doing the same.
