About this event

Adult, Teen. The EPL Makerspace is hosting a drop-in open jam session for some fun with our sampling and beat making equipment. Customers will have the chance to learn, play and connect with other music makers of all skill levels. Bring your audio creativity and join in the chaotic fun of crafting collaborative soundscapes! In this electronic jam session, customers can: • Play around with a wide selection of synthesizers to craft sweet melodies and cool beats.- Try out Ableton Push 2, a powerful and dynamic controller for the Ableton Live software.- Engage with our RC 505 loop station. This class is primarily designed for adults and teens and will be delivered in person in the Makerspace at Stanley A. Milner Library. Children under 12 are welcome to participate and will need the assistance of a caregiver. The Stanley A. Milner Library Makerspace also offers bookable Recording Studios where you can access recording software and instruments.
