About this event

Children (Ages 6-12), Children (Birth-Age 5), Families, Teens (Ages 13-18), Tweens (Ages 9-12). Join the Friends of the Lower Mills Branch for their annual Pumpkin Carving event! Register ahead to receive your very own pumpkin! (Supplies are limited.) Carve, paint, decorate, and take it home in time for Halloween! All children must be accompanied by an adult. We will also be hosting a Halloween costume swap alongside the carving this year. If you have any gently-used costumes that need a new home, feel free to bring them to the event or drop them off at the library beforehand. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact the department listed in the "Contact Info" pane on the right. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation. Programming at the Boston Public Library is funded through private support.
