Casseroles That Care (with Chef-in-Residence Suman Shah)
About this event
All Adults, College Students, Older Adults, Teens (Ages 13-18), Visitors, Young Adults (Ages 20-34). There's nothing quite like a warm casserole pulled straight from the oven! In this class, led by BPL's Chef-in-Residence Suman Shah, we'll build a casserole from scratch, layering vegetables, grains, and warming spices into something that feels like a hug on a plate. Food has a way of bringing people together and reminding us that taking care of ourselves can be joyful, not just necessary. You'll learn how to build a hearty, satisfying meal from scratch, blending spices, lentils, and vegetables into layers of flavor and comfort, a technique you'll come back to again and again. By the end, you'll walk away with a delicious dish worth sharing. Allergen Alert - Gluten, Dairy and Nuts. Please Note: This is a Rescheduled Program.
