About this event

All Adults. The Print 2 Screen Book Group is a new Hyde Park Branch Library's book group that focuses on books that have been adapted into feature films or television series. Each month, the group selects a book to read that also has a TV or film adaptation to watch. The group will discuss the differences in storytelling, characters, plot, and more. Print 2 Screen focuses on books of a variety of genres, formats, and intended audiences. The book for the October meeting is The Woman in Black by Susan Hill. A hard copy of the book and movie adaptation can be picked up at the Hyde Park Circulation Desk. The film is also available to be streamed on Kanopy. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact the department listed in the "Contact Info" pane on the right.
