The Founder Mindset: What It Actually Takes to Build Something

About this event

Some weeks you’re fired up and ready to take on the world. Other weeks you can barely open your laptop. And momentum never builds. Most people think building a business is about having the right idea or the right skills. In reality, what determines success is how you think and act when things get hard. The Trenches is a no-bullshit community of founders and builders helping each other win. In this session, we’ll break down the mindset you need to build a business, and you’ll do the work to apply it to your own situation. 🔥 What We’ll Cover: • Why the “comfortable work” feels productive but keeps you stuck • How to make decisions without having all the answers • Handling rejection, silence, and slow progress without quitting • Moving from an employee mindset to an owner mindset • Building consistency when nobody is telling you what to do • What to do when motivation runs out • Real stories from our own journeys: the mistakes we made, the hard calls we avoided, and what finally helped us move forward 🛠 Practical Work: This isn’t a lecture. You’ll work through exercises on your own business, including: • Find the hard task you’ve been avoiding, and why • Spot the beliefs holding you back • Leave with one concrete commitment for the week ahead 👉 Who This Is For: Anyone building something of their own: a business, a side project, or an idea you want to launch. Whether you’re just starting or already running something, if you know you could be moving faster, this is for you.
