Tokyo Padel Night at Mizumachi — Saturday Social, Beginners Welcome 🎾🌙
About this event
🗓 Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 ⏰ Time: 7:45 PM – 10:00 PM 📍 Location: Padel Tokyo Mizumachi 1 Chome-32-4 Mukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/777EjyULEMsnScw68) 💴 Fee: ¥3,500 per person Racket rental included; rental shoes available for ¥300. Event Details: Spend Saturday night playing padel with Tokyo Expat Social Club at Padel Tokyo Mizumachi. We have three courts reserved for two full hours, giving us plenty of space to rotate teams, mix up opponents, and keep everyone playing throughout the evening. Padel is easy to get into even if you’ve never played before. It combines elements of tennis and squash, but the smaller court and use of the walls make rallies easier to build and the game naturally very social. This is a casual social session rather than a competitive tournament. Some people will be trying padel for the first time, others will have joined previous TESC sessions, and more experienced players are very welcome too. You don’t need to bring a partner, form a team, or already know anyone. We’ll organize rotations throughout the evening so you’ll have opportunities to play with different people. Most TESC attendees come alone, so showing up by yourself is completely normal. 📸 Instagram: @tokyoexpatclub (https://www.instagram.com/tokyoexpatclub?igsh=MWc3Zmc4eDFjaDh0OA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr) 🪩Discord: Tokyo Expat Social Club (https://discord.gg/E9wS8da5bS) 🌿Substack: Tokyo Expat Social Club (http://tokyoexpatsocialclub.substack.com) 💬LINE Group: Tokyo Expat Social Club LINE Group (https://line.me/ti/g2/59cCXk2LJxd9QKnnDpgQZgZJ8Od9d0GK8c3fsw?utm_source=invitation&utm_medium=link_copy&utm_campaign=default) What to Expect: 🎾 Two hours of padel across three reserved courts 🔄 Rotating teams and opponents throughout the session 👋 Complete beginners are welcome 🌍 Friendly mix of expats, locals, and internationals Why You’ll Enjoy It: • Easy and social sport to try even as a complete beginner • Friendly mix of first-timers and returning players • Active alternative to another bar, café, or dinner meetup • Cooler evening weather makes late-October padel especially comfortable What to Bring: • Comfortable athletic clothing • Water or sports drinks • Court-appropriate athletic shoes • Towel • A light jacket or hoodie for breaks between games • A change of shirt if helpful How to Join: 1.
