Tutors at the Skyway Library (Study Zone)
About this event
Kids (Ages 6 to 8), Teens (Ages 12 to 18), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Volunteer tutors provide homework help in the library for grades K-12. They can also give language support for homework or translation in many languages. Students may drop in any time during Tutor hours. Look for volunteers wearing the Tutor t-shirt. Tutor Subjects and Languages Available: All subjects are available for grades K-5 on each shift. Advanced Subjects for Grades 6-12 and Languages Available: Tuesdays, 5-7pm: Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, General Science, Biology, English/Writing, Study Skills. Subject and language availability may vary based on volunteer attendance. Unexpected absences or schedule changes can occur. Study Zone Study Zone programs provide volunteer-led academic support for grades K-12. Programs include Tutors, Math Club, Reading Buddies and Kids & Teens Talk Time.
