About this event
The market is tightening, budgets are shrinking, and clients want more for less. So how are designers adapting? Join us at the Haworth showroom for an evening of sharp talks, honest stories, and good conversation with architects and designers who are working it out in real time. Who’s on stage • Jane Zhang, Atelier MOZH, Praxis in the Folds. Jane looks back at her atelier’s projects across architecture and interiors and shares the practical and strategic moves that help a practice survive in China’s contracting market. • Xiaoyu Chen, Chentimes5 Studio, Designed to Disappear. Xiaoyu’s talk grew out of academic research on construction and demolition waste. She’ll bring a real chair to show how sustainability, interactivity and public engagement can come together in one object. • Teo Rojas, Brandon Brand Consulting, RAMON 2.0: Alohomora and Some Magic. Teo mixes brainstorming, data, a little “copy-paste” and a dose of AI to help designers experiment faster, and maybe even skip a few revision rounds. • Richard Beach, KURA Architects, A-WHY. Richard asks why we do what we do, and what we lose if we stop asking. • Daniel Heusser, VIRTUARCH. His talk title is coming soon, so come find out what it is. Why come? You’ll hear five very different takes on the same tough market, then stay for drinks and meet peers, collaborators and maybe your next client. Bring questions, bring business cards, and bring a colleague. 👉 Scan the QR code to get your ticket. Seats are limited.
