Game Night for Adults at Elkins Park

About this event

Have a fun night out playing board and card games with our group. Volunteers will host tables featuring a variety of games. No prior knowledge of the games are needed, just your interest in having fun and learning new games. Optionally, you can bring a game you love to teach and play. The games vary by host but it has ranged from traditional games like Rack-o, to party games to word games, to modern Euro games like Catan and Wingspan. The library also has games you can borrow to play. While many games have a competitive feel to them, this group strives to be open and friendly. No matter who is winning or losing, we are all here to have fun. Note that you should aim to arrive close to the start time or even a little early; if you're late the game tables may have formed already and it could be difficult to find a seat. Featured Game October's Featured Game will be The King Is Dead. Looks like medieval Risk, but it isn't. 4 players - who will back the group that becomes the next king of medieval England?
