Math Club Online: Get Ready For 3rd Grade

About this event

Kids (Ages 6 to 8), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Math Club provide games and activities to help students exercise their math skills. The summer Get Ready For series helps students prepare for topics they may learn during the first month of their next school year. Classes are by recommended grade level, but students may attend lessons on any topic they want to work on. Students should log in a few minutes before class begins and have a pencil and paper to follow along. Visit kcls.org/studyzone/#mathclub Click on the 'Connect to Zoom' button. July 1: Comparing Numbers up to 1000 July 8: Properties of Addition July 15: 1-Digit Multiplication July 22: Basic Division July 29: Estimation August 5: Area & Perimeter of Shapes August 12: Vertices, Edges & Faces August 19: Units of Measurement Study Zone programs provide volunteer-led academic support for grades K-12. Programs include Tutors, Math Club, Reading Buddies and Kids & Teens Talk Time. Available online and in libraries. Online Study Zone programs are supervised by library staff.
