Math Club Online: Get Ready For 6th Grade
About this event
Kids (Ages 6 to 8), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Math Club provide games and activities to help students exercise their math skills. The summer Get Ready For series helps students prepare for topics they may learn during the first month of their next school year. Classes are by recommended grade level, but students may attend lessons on any topic they want to work on. Students should log in a few minutes before class begins and have a pencil and paper to follow along. Visit kcls.org/studyzone/#mathclub Click on the 'Connect to Zoom' button. July 1: Ratios, Rates & Percentages July 8: Arithmetic Operations July 15: Negative Numbers July 22: Properties of Numbers July 29: Variables & Expressions August 5: Expressions, Equations & Inequalities August 12: Introduction to Inequalities August 19: Area & Volume Study Zone programs provide volunteer-led academic support for grades K-12. Programs include Tutors, Math Club, Reading Buddies and Kids & Teens Talk Time. Available online and in libraries. Online Study Zone programs are supervised by library staff.
