Kids (Ages 6 to 8), Teens (Ages 12 to 18), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Volunteer tutors provide homework help online for grades K-12. They can also give language support for homework or translation in many languages. Students may drop in any time during Tutor hours. Or, dial in using a home phone or smartphone. Click on the 'Connect to Tutors on Zoom' button. Request “Tutor” and your grade and subjects you need help with. Tutor Subjects Available: Grades K-5: All subjects are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Grades 7-12: Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, General Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies/History, English/Writing, Study Skills Tutor Languages Available: French, Hindi, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese Subject and language availability may vary based on volunteer attendance. Unexpected absences or schedule changes can occur. Study Zone Study Zone programs provide volunteer-led academic support for grades K-12. Programs include Tutors, Math Club, Reading Buddies and Kids & Teens Talk Time. Available online and in libraries. Online Study Zone programs are supervised by library staff.
