About this event

Schedule 19:00 Walk-in 19:15 Hussain Bharmal: Supercharge WordPress Development with Your Favourite AI Tool 19:55 Break 20:15 Jens De Beule: Agents run my back office 20:45 Open Call 🔔 21:00 Drinks @ the bar Hussain Bharmal is an Implementation Engineer at Adyen and a passionate WordPress enthusiast. In this hands-on talk, he will show how to leverage Novamira to connect your favorite AI tool (like Claude) directly to WordPress. Through a live demo, you’ll see how AI can take on the heavy lifting of development - from designing the UI to configuring plugins, SEO optimisation, site testing and more. You’ll leave with a practical, step-by-step workflow you can immediately use to speed up your own WordPress builds. Jens De Beule is founder of Webscout, an international web agency established in Ghent (Belgium). His talk will be about Agents on the payroll: what happened when I let AI run my back office. For the past year he has been building a small team of AI agents that handle the unglamorous half of running a WordPress agency: sorting the inbox, drafting replies, keeping a task list honest, triaging support tickets and noticing when a client site goes down at 3AM in the morning. This is the honest version of that story. What actually works, what quietly broke, and the mistakes that cost: an agent that archived things it should not have, a timezone bug that made every alert an hour wrong, and the day I learned that an agent must never be the one to press send. You will leave with a clear sense of where an agent earns its place, where a plain old script is the better answer, and which guardrails to put in before you hand anything over. No tools to buy and no platform to sign up for, just what he would do differently if he started again.
