🔊Learning French Through Audio Content and Shadowing🎙️ If you enjoy training your ear to understand spoken French, and practicing with content created for native French speakers, you’ll love these sessions! We listen to French content (mainly audiobooks) at normal speed to train our ear to the language and improve our comprehension abilities. We also have dedicated time during the sessions for shadowing the content to improve our speaking skills. \*\*\* What to Expect The content covered will be primarily B1 level and higher. With that said, anyone who wants to improve their listening comprehension and speaking abilities is welcome to attend, as long as you’re onboard with listening at normal speed to train your ear to recognize natural spoken French. In the shadowing portion, we may adjust the speed to a range between 0.7 and 1.0 speed as needed for ease of repetition. In terms of the format, we listen sentence by sentence, reviewing each sentence as we go, and analyzing words, phrases, and structures more in depth as needed. There’s also time allotted to shadow the content that we’ve covered in the session to practice pronunciation. \*\*\* Event Details Schedule: Every Wednesday Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (New York time) Duration: 10 weeks Dates: September 16 to November 18, 2026 Google Meet Link: https://meet.google.com/bte-esws-xxg Group Size: 20 maximum \*\*\* Language & Level • Content used will be B1 and higher. • Learners of all levels can attend and participate. • The session is conducted in both French and English \*\*\* Important Notes • Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth start • Active participation is encouraged but never forced • A respectful and supportive atmosphere is essential We look forward to seeing you there! \*\*\* About The French Club The French Club is a global French-learning community focused on real, practical fluency.
