Edmonton Writers' Group: Creative Writing Workshops

Adult. Edmonton Writers' Group presents a series of creative writing workshops for beginner-level authors, leading participants through the stages of writing and supporting the development of personal manuscripts. Please note: Working toward the goal of writing the first draft of a story, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions, as they build on those previously offered. Writers should also bring a notebook or laptop with them to help capture and share their ideas with the group as the series progresses. Session IV: Plotting and Planning The plot of the story is what guides you while you are writing it, and gives substance to your readers so they can make sense of what you are presenting. In this session we will begin looking at the mechanics of plotting your story.
