🪞 The Success Self-Image: Why You Keep Ending Up Where You Started (And How to Change It) Have you ever tried to change something in your life, made progress, felt like you were finally getting somewhere… only to find yourself back where you started? You lose the weight, then put it back on. You make more money, but somehow end up broke again. You work on yourself, try to build better habits, and push towards your goals, yet something seems to keep pulling you back to your old ways. What if the problem isn't your effort, your discipline, or your ability to succeed… but the image you hold of yourself? 🤯 In this week's unique Mindset Mondays session, we'll explore The Success Self-Image and how the picture you hold of yourself deep in your subconscious mind may be influencing the results you experience in life. 🛫 Think of your self-image like the autopilot on a plane. Imagine a plane taking off from Melbourne, heading to Perth. Its autopilot has a destination and flight path programmed in. If the plane drifts off course, the system makes adjustments to bring it back on track. It continually works to return the plane to its intended path. Your self-image can operate in a similar way, influencing your habits, decisions, behaviours and what feels normal or possible for you. This helps explain why changing your circumstances doesn't always lead to lasting change. You might change the result for a while, but if your underlying beliefs about who you are remain the same, you can find yourself slipping back into familiar patterns. You can change the destination temporarily without changing the autopilot. And this is something I'm incredibly passionate about because it changed the way I understood my own life. After living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 17 years, struggling financially, and experiencing unhappy relationships, I had a profound realisation. The image I held of myself was that I was unwell, that I'd never have money, and that I didn't deserve to be loved for who I was. 😓 I was trying to change my results without addressing the deeper image of myself that was influencing them. That realisation changed everything. Since then, I've worked on transforming the way I see myself and the way I show up in the world. Today, I'm finally healthy (haha!), more abundant, and married to an incredible woman with an amazing, uplifting relationship. ❤️ And that's why I want to share this with you. ✨ In this session, we'll explore how to start changing the image you hold of yourself so you can create lasting change in your life. I'll guide you through practical steps and journaling exercises that anyone can use to begin challenging old self-perceptions and developing a self-image that supports the person they want to become. Because what if you didn't have to keep fighting against the same old patterns? What if you could start becoming the person for whom your goals, habits and success feel natural? Let's stop trying to force different results and start working on the person creating them. 🙏 I look forward to exploring this with you! --- 🌟 Welcome to Mindset Mondays!
