Asia+ Festival 2026: Sonic Odyssey of Curious Creatures

A child's first relish of art often begins with a toy, an instrument, or a paintbrush. Brought to life by the best of Hong Kong design and creative talents — DFA Design for Asia Awards 2021 Grand Prize awardee and curator Kay Chan Wan-ki and multidisciplinary artist collective Brainrental, this convivial exhibition weaves sound and toys together into one shared adventure. The rolling parade of three larger-than-life music box installations sets the scene: Peacock Tower, Deer Carousel, and Humming Bird and Butterfly House. Wake them up, prick up your ears. Something is humming! These installations fuse world music, play experience and visual arts to map out the cultural diversity of Asia+ 2026 programmes. Drop by anytime with family and friends to play the music boxes. On weekends, do join our art and handicraft workshops with the curator, and enjoy a live musical excerpt by Hong Kong Children’s Musical Theatre with costume on. 孩童最早的藝術啟蒙，可能就是手中的玩具、樂器或畫具。DFA 2021亞洲最具影響力設計獎大獎得主、本地策展人陳韻淇，聯同以港式幽默見稱的創意藝術團隊「大腦出租」，製作三組會動會唱歌的創意音樂裝置──「孔雀塔」、「旋轉小鹿」和「蜂鳥與蝴蝶小屋」，等待大家來喚醒！它們結合世界音樂、遊玩體驗和視藝設計，將「亞藝無疆2026」節目遼闊的音樂版圖變成巨型音樂盒。精緻的玩偶和動物組成隊伍，為展覽注入嘉年華氣氛，最適合大小觀眾參與。 周末另設由陳韻淇主理的藝術手作工作坊，還有香港兒童音樂劇團加入這次聲色巡禮，小演員穿上戲服演出音樂劇選段，與大家共渡藝術時光。
