About this event

Child (6 - 8), Child (9 - 12), Family. Students will learn the basic steps of the Grass and Jingle dances. They will also receive teachings about the Cree and Blackfoot tribes. Curt will use a hand drum and flute to demonstrate different drum patterns that are used in these traditions. His regalia will be on display to explain what each part represents, how he received it, and how he became a dancer. Jubilee Arts brings creativity beyond the stage and into the heart of the community. Through pop-ups, workshops, and local partnerships, we deliver hands-on arts experiences across Alberta. Join us throughout EPL’s Summer Reading Fest as we feature local artists for fun and exciting workshops!
