Adults (18+). Come join us every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm for an engaging showing and discussion of a documentary relating to various social and cultural issues. Everyone is welcome but participants are limited to 14 people due to size of our meeting room. Here is the list of past and upcoming documentaries for 2026. August: Capturing Kennedy - shares the extraordinary untold story of Jacques Lowe, a young immigrant, who at just 28, became the personal photograph to President John F Kennedy. September: Changing Lanes - featuring David Byrne and Janette Sadik-Khan, explores why streets are designed as they are how to make them safer. After a beloved teacher is killed in a hit-and-run Greenpoint, Brooklyn resident push to convert a dangerous four-lane boulevard into a two-lane street with protected bike lanes.
