About this event

All Adults. Join us for light refreshments and open conversation about death and dying. The goal of a death cafe is to increase awareness of death in order to discover a deeper appreciation of living. A death cafe is meant to create a respectful and supportive space, where people can freely share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. A death cafe is not a grief support group or a counseling session, just a place to have thoughtful, open conversations without expectations. This death cafe is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Dimitri is an end-of-life doula who grew up in Roslindale. He enjoys saving seeds, writing letters, cooking, and connecting with others. He is currently taking psychology and mindfulness classes with the hope of sharing this knowledge with community. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, call 617.298.9218 or email [email protected]. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation.
