About this event

Children (Birth-Age 5). Join singer and guitarist Matt Heaton for a Thursday morning musical performance for the whole family in the South End Library Park. Matt Heaton believes music for kids can be entertaining for both children AND parents. His songs blend mid-century American guitar styles: surf, rockabilly, western swing & soul. All are delivered with a wry sense of humor and a sincere sense of fun. Kids dance, laugh, and sing along. Grown-ups appreciate the Muppet-esque touches of humor and observations of kid behavior. Call it children's music, family music, kindie or toddlerbilly — it's sure to please listeners of all ages. Address: South End Library Park 685 Tremont Street Boston, MA 02118 Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact the department listed in the "Contact Info" pane on the right. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation. Summer and Fall Programming at the South End Branch is supported by Herb Hill through the Boston Public Library Fund. Programming at the Boston Public Library is funded through private support.
