About this event

Adults: 18 and up. Do you enjoy browsing cookbooks? Do you love trying new dishes? Are you looking for recipe inspiration? For August's discussion, cook or bake something using ingredients purchased at your favorite farmers markets in Chicago and beyond. Serve the dish to your family and friends and ask them for feedback. What worked? What didn't work? Would you change anything about the recipe? Did cooking with fresh, seasonal produce bring out brighter flavors and a satisfying sense of connection to the season? After the discussion, the group will walk over to the North Branch Farmers Market at 6525 N. Hiawatha Ave. to peruse what this year's harvest has to offer.
