Build Your Own Network on AWS: VPC Hands-on
About this event
Build Your Own Network on AWS: VPC Hands-on 🌐☁️ Ever wondered what actually happens behind the scenes when you launch a server on AWS? In this live, hands-on session, you’ll build your own network on AWS from scratch, step by step, alongside the speaker. This is a build-along session, not a slide-only talk. By the end, you’ll have a working VPC that you designed yourself. 🎤 Speaker: Shivansh Sukhija 📅 Date: Sunday, 25 October 2026 ⏰ Time: 11:00 AM IST 💻 Where: Online (link will be shared with RSVP’d attendees) 🛠️ What we’ll build together • Create a custom VPC and plan its IP ranges (CIDR) • Set up public and private subnets across Availability Zones • Connect to the internet with an Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway and route tables • Secure your network with Security Groups and Network ACLs • Launch an EC2 instance and test connectivity 👥 Who should join • Students and freshers starting out with cloud • Developers who use AWS but find networking confusing • Anyone preparing for AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect) No prior networking experience needed. We’ll start from the basics. ✅ Before you join • A laptop with a stable internet connection • An AWS account (Free Tier is fine) • Some curiosity! 😄 ⚠️ Note: a few resources, such as the NAT Gateway, aren’t free. We’ll show you how to clean everything up at the end so you don’t get billed. Hit RSVP to save your spot. See you there! 🚀
