About this event

Children (Ages 6-12), Families, Teens (Ages 13-18), Tweens (Ages 9-12). Come enjoy the royal game of chess at your library. The Children's Chess Club is an informal group welcoming everyone from novice players to junior chess masters. In addition to open play on our chessboards, we will also provide access to free lessons, activities, and study materials designed for young players. No registration is necessary. Can't make it to the library? Join us virtually via Zoom. For more information, contact the Children's Librarian, Mr. Ritse at: [email protected] Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible.
