Film Screening: Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story

Join us for this afternoon documentary film screening of Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story, aligned with the late summer exhibit near the library of The Great Elephant Migration. This documentary film is not rated but is generally recommended for people ages 12 and up. About the film: Ashley Bell and a team of elephant rescuers led by world renowned Asian elephant conservationist Lek Chailert, embark on a daring 48-hour mission across Thailand to rescue a 70-year old captive blind Asian elephant and bring her to freedom. About the exhibit: https://thegreatelephantmigration.org/ The elephants will be located along the Commonwealth Avenue Mall from Saturday, Aug. 8, through Sunday, Sept. 13, "migrating between" Fairfield and Arlington Street.
