About this event

A 90-minute live online masterclass about rebuilding trust in yourself after heartbreak and learning how to approach love differently. After a painful relationship, people often assume the hardest part will be letting go of the other person. Sometimes it is. But sometimes what stays with you is the doubt. You look back and wonder why you stayed as long as you did, why you kept giving someone another chance, why you ignored something that did not feel right, or why you invested so much in a relationship that never really became what you hoped it would be. Then, when you try to move forward, that uncertainty follows you. You might start dating again and find that nobody really feels worth your time. Or you meet someone you like and suddenly you are questioning yourself again. Are you being too cautious? Are you expecting too much? Are you listening to your intuition, or are you reacting to what happened before? This is one of the more difficult parts of heartbreak. The relationship may be over, but the effect it had on the way you trust yourself can remain. And when that happens, dating becomes more complicated because you are not only trying to work out whether someone else is right for you. You are also trying to work out whether you can trust your own judgment. That is what From Heartbreak to Self-Trust is about. Register for the masterclass here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/M2PagkKjRKmC6R1CbEf16w In this 90-minute live online masterclass, we will look at what happens to your sense of self after disappointment, rejection, inconsistency or loss, and why it can leave you unsure of what to trust when you begin opening yourself to love again. We will explore some of the moments where people start moving away from themselves in relationships. You may have noticed something but talked yourself out of it, needed clarity but been afraid to ask for it, or kept adjusting, waiting or hoping because losing the connection felt harder than staying in the uncertainty. We will also look at the difference between fear, emotional activation and useful relational information, so you can begin understanding what is happening inside you without either dismissing it or letting it make every decision for you. There will also be a guided experiential process to help you recognise one moment where you may have stopped listening to yourself in order to preserve a relationship, and begin experiencing what it feels like to stay connected to yourself instead. What you will leave with By the end of the masterclass, you will have a clearer understanding of how heartbreak may have affected the way you trust yourself and why that can continue to influence dating even after the relationship has ended. You will begin to recognise where you tend to doubt or override yourself when a relationship feels uncertain, and you will have a practical way of looking at the difference between what you are feeling and what the other person’s behaviour is actually showing you. Most importantly, you will have experienced a first step towards staying connected to yourself in a moment where previously you might have abandoned what you knew, needed or felt in order to hold onto the relationship. Who this masterclass is for This masterclass is for you if you have been through a breakup, situationship, on-and-off relationship or emotionally difficult connection that you have not fully resolved, and you can feel that it is still affecting the way you approach love. You may already be dating but find yourself largely unimpressed by the people you meet, reluctant to invest emotionally, or unsure whether your standards are protecting you or whether fear is influencing your choices. It is also for you if you have moved on from the person to some degree, but have not completely recovered your confidence in yourself. Who it is not for This is not a workshop about getting an ex back, making someone choose you, or analysing another person’s behaviour in ord
