About this event

Children (Birth-Age 5). An outdoor musical performance in the McKim Courtyard with children's musician Matt Heaton whose songs blend mid-century American guitar styles: surf, rockabilly, western swing & soul, delivered with a wry sense of humor and a sincere sense of fun. Kids dance, laugh, and sing along. Grown-ups appreciate the Muppet-esque touches of humor and observations of kid behavior. Call it children's music, family music, kindie or toddlerbilly — it's sure to please listeners of all ages. In inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the Children’s Library. This program is generously donated by the Louise H. Allen Children’s Music Program Fund. Space may be limited. Ages 0-5. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, please contact the Children's Room at [email protected] or call (617) 859-2476. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation.
