About this event

All Adults, Older Adults. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 2:30 pm at the Central Library in Copley Square. Joyce Carol Oates Four Month Series: May - August 2026 we will be reading one short story each month from Joy Carol Oates's Extenuating Circumstances. Come listen to and discuss a short story read aloud. Copies of the book will be available at the discussion and you do not need to read anything ahead of time. Feel free to bring any portable craft projects to work on while we listen and chat. REGISTRATION: Sign up for the event reminder emails here. They go out one week prior to the event.
