Group Escape Room Competition - The Abandoned Cabin [#teencentral]
About this event
Teens (Ages 13-18). Games can be more than just a fun distraction: they can be a means to connect with people, make new friends, and deepen analytic thinking. From Mario Kart 8 to Connect Four, games can temporarily unite a group of buddies –– or strangers –– under a common goal, interest, or strategy. Continuing in 2026, Teen Central will dedicate both time and space for teens looking to explore both competitive and cooperative play in a series of biweekly events dedicated to social gaming. On August 14, teens will gather for a series of different escape-room-style puzzles and challenges. We will be using the Exit and Escape Room: The Game series of board games alongside the insanely fun cooperative video game, Escape Academy, to derive the challenge. Winning teams will walk away with $25 EACH in Amazon gift card prizes! Got an idea for a Have You No Game?! afternoon? Email event coordinator Chris Jacobs at [email protected] and we can consider it for an upcoming date! Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact the department listed in the "Contact Info" pane on the right. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation.
