About this event

Join us for another casual bike ride, this time a bit further south! Let's beat the heat and meet at the Historic Venice Train Depot shortly before 07:00 AM. There will be plenty of parking and restrooms (we will meet in front of them). Our ride will take us along the Venetian Waterway until we reach our first stop at the Shamrock Park & Nature Center. From there we will make our way through some quiet and picturesque neighborhoods until we reach Manasota Key Beach, our destination for the day. After a break and a peek at the beach we will take back a slightly different route. Total distance will be around 23 miles, pace 10 - 12 mph. Please bring along sufficient water, a snack, wear sunscreen and check your bikes before the ride. We will make several stops along the way to hydrate, so the it might take a bit longer. Please don't schedule anything right after the ride, if you are in a hurry, you will be on your own. As always, if you have any questions or need directions, you can contact us at (917)774-0941.
