KAYAK/SUP: Snook Haven - Myakka River w/Lunch

About this event

ARRIVAL: No later than 8:15 am! We launch anytime between 8:45 - 9:00 am! Be on time and don't be left behind. FIRST TIMERS: SunCoast Pedal & Paddle (SP&P) decals are available for purchase prior to this event. The cost is $3. Exact change is appreciated. BY displaying the SP&P decal on your kayak, you are exempt from signing the trip liability waiver for EACH trip you attend (instead you will sign an annual waiver when you purchase the decals). IMPORTANT: Follow signs with directions to the NEW boat ramp. Make a \*\*LEFT(\*\*at the STOP sign). You will also see the RV Park & Campgrounds entrance on your RIGHT. Due to the long trip length of 9+ miles (4.6 miles in each direction), this paddle is intended for intermediate/experienced paddlers ONLY! This trip is exclusively for SP&P members only. No guests, pets, spouses or +1's allowed. Upon Arrival: Please sign in on the "Participant Liability Waiver" upon arrival at the launch (unless you display a SP&P decal on your kayak). IMPORTANT: Approximately 5 minutes before launch time we will hold a MANDATORY safety briefing. Please do not get into your kayaks until AFTER pre-trip the safety briefing is over. Be prepared to launch immediately after the meeting, Don't forget: PFD and WHISTLE (both required by law), and (optional) water shoes, water, bug spray, sunscreen, first aid kit, bilge pump, paddle leash,
