Cristian’s 100th Walk as Host! Circular Quay to Bondi Beach via Rose Bay

About this event

To celebrate my 100th walk as a host, what more could I offer than one of the best walks in Sydney? Possibly with a Rivareno gelato or two along the way! I know I have just completed a gelato walk, but for me “too much gelato” has no meaning. We will start at Circular Quay opposite Wharf 2 at 10.00am. From here will walk around the Opera House (we might even see the seal that suns itself on the steps), through the Botanical Gardens to Lady Macquarie’s Chair for lovely views of the city. Then we will walk past Woolloomooloo Wharf on to Potts Point, where there is a Rivareno Gelateria which opens at 11am! We will be first people in line! Let’s call this a "late breakfast”. From here we will make our way through Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Double Bay, Point Piper to Rose Bay where we will have lunch. You can bring your own or buy something at the café. Then onto Bondi Beach for a possible second Rivareno gelato! Let's call this an "early dinner". If we have time, we might even check out Sculptures by the Sea. We will aim to finish by around 3.00pm and catch a bus back to the city. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* DISTANCE: About 14 kms (16kms with Sculptures by the Sea). GRADE: Easy to medium. NOTE: Many exit options along the way. Please let the Host know if you leave the walk. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: · Be Prepared: Wear comfortable shoes, bring at least 1L of water and dress for the weather. I would recommend hydralyte tablets, snacks and sun protection. · Follow Instructions: Please follow the instructions of the Host at all times and keep the Host within sight.
