About this event

🗓 Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:45–5:00 PM 📍 Location: Padel Tokyo Mizumachi 1 Chome-32-4 Mukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/777EjyULEMsnScw68) 💴 Fee: ¥3,500 per person Racket rental included; rental shoes available for ¥300. Event Details: Looking to try padel in Tokyo or meet new people over the November 3 holiday? Join Tokyo Expat Social Club for a beginner-friendly padel afternoon at Padel Tokyo Mizumachi, near Tokyo Skytree. Come alone, bring a friend, or join as a first-time player. No partner or previous padel experience is needed. We have three courts reserved for two full hours, with rotating teams and opponents throughout the afternoon. You’ll get opportunities to play with different people, take breaks, and chat between games. Padel is a doubles racket sport combining elements of tennis and squash. It’s played on a smaller, enclosed court where the walls are part of the game. The doubles format makes it a social activity to try with new people. This is a casual social session rather than a competitive tournament. Some attendees will be trying padel for the first time, others will have joined previous TESC sessions, and experienced players are welcome too. Most TESC attendees come alone, so you don’t need to know anyone beforehand. Expats, Japanese locals, internationals, and visitors looking to make friends in Tokyo are all welcome. 📸 Instagram: @tokyoexpatclub (https://www.instagram.com/tokyoexpatclub?igsh=MWc3Zmc4eDFjaDh0OA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr) 🪩Discord: Tokyo Expat Social Club (https://discord.gg/E9wS8da5bS) 🌿Substack: Tokyo Expat Social Club (http://tokyoexpatsocialclub.substack.com) 💬LINE Group: Tokyo Expat Social Club LINE Group (https://line.me/ti/g2/59cCXk2LJxd9QKnnDpgQZgZJ8Od9d0GK8c3fsw?utm_source=invitation&utm_medium=link_copy&utm_campaign=default) What to Expect: 🎾 Two hours of padel across three reserved courts 🔄 Rotating teams and opponents throughout the session 👋 Complete beginners are welcome 🌍 Friendly mix of expats, locals, and internationals Why You’ll Enjoy It: • Try a new sport without needing your own racket or a playing partner • Meet people through a shared activity • Join a holiday outing even if you’re coming alone • Enjoy an active afternoon near Tokyo Skytree What to Bring: • Comfortable athletic clothing • Court-appropriate athletic shoes • Water or sports drinks • Towel • A light jacket or hoodie for breaks • A change of shirt if helpful How to Join: 1.
