A well-designed website provides an accessible platform for presenting your business, demonstrating professionalism and strengthening customer confidence. However, developing a website does not necessarily require substantial financial investment or ongoing website-builder subscription fees. Grow With Intent invites aspiring and early-stage business owners to attend a practical, two-hour live demonstration exploring how to create a professional, cost-effective website for a service-based business. The session will focus on developing a starter website using accessible tools, providing participants with the foundational knowledge required to establish and progressively develop their online presence. What Will You Learn? During this session, we will demonstrate how to create a website using: • WordPress: A free, open-source platform for creating and managing websites. • Elementor: A visual website design plugin that enables users to create and customise website pages. • Free Plugins: Additional software components that extend website functionality, including contact forms, security features and other practical tools. The demonstration will cover the essential stages of website development, including: • Setting up WordPress. • Selecting and installing a suitable website theme. • Installing and configuring Elementor. • Creating and customising essential website pages. • Adding content, images and contact information. • Installing and configuring useful plugins. • Reviewing the completed website. Participants will also be shown a completed example of the website being developed, providing a practical reference throughout the session. The objective is to demonstrate how a professional starter website can be created using cost-effective tools and subsequently developed as business requirements evolve. Who Should Attend?
