We say “I love you,” but what do we mean? I need you? You make me happy? Please don’t leave? I can’t live without you? You complete me? When someone disappoints us or stops giving us what we want, what happens to that love? Where does love go when we are angry? Why doesn’t the person who claims to love us do what we want? Join Steve Lewit, author of A Matter of Being: Living an Inspired Life Through the Power of Observation, for an open conversation about love, need, and the expectations we bring to our relationships. Through Observation, we look at our thoughts, feelings, and reactions without immediately judging them or trying to change them. Can looking this way reveal something about love that our familiar explanations have missed?
