Guided Meditation Boston | Somerville
About this event
As Thanksgiving approaches, many of us take a moment to think about what we’re grateful for. A meal shared with family or friends might come to mind. We remember who was at the table, but how often do we think about what made it possible for us to sit down together? It’s easy to appreciate the big things in life and overlook what makes an ordinary day possible. If you’d like to bring more gratitude into daily life, join Zen Master Sebastian Rizzon for a guided meditation that begins with something you already appreciate. In this Thursday’s Guided Meditation on Gratitude, you’ll settle your attention through breathing, and listening to a singing bowl. We’ll also take time to notice some of the connections we usually take for granted and explore what it means to be grateful. Following the meditation session, Zen Master Sebastian Rizzon will take questions from the audience. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions to deepen their understanding of meditation, Zen, life, or even the mind itself! All are welcome to attend, regardless of prior experience or background. While the class is free of charge, donations are greatly appreciated to support the Zen Art Center's mission to cultivate inner peace and harmony in the world. Your generosity enables us to expand our schedule of offerings and continue serving our community. I hope you’ll join us in person or online. Studio 5R is on the 1st floor, call 781-530-0753 or 617-429-8024 if the front door is locked. You can also attend remotely via livestream on YouTube @zenartcenter: Zen Art Center - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@zenartcenter)
