About this event

Adults (Ages 24 to 49), Teens (Ages 12 to 18), Tweens (Ages 9 to 11). Winning Her Wings features WWII’s groundbreaking Women Airforce Service Pilots through the eyes of one Seattle woman serving in the WASP program. Combining solo theatre and powerful archival film footage, this dynamic production brings to life the determination to fight against prejudice at home and abroad. This performance is inspired by the voices, stories and perspectives that rarely make it into history books. Sponsored by the Friends of the Woodmont Library. For ages 9 and up. Registration required. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email [email protected] at least seven days before the event. Automated closed captioning is always available for online events.
