Join Tokyo Expat Social Club for a relaxed autumn picnic at Shiba Park, near Tokyo Tower. We’ll settle in together for a few hours of conversation, light snacks and optional games. Bring your favourite drink, find a spot on the picnic sheets and get to know the people around you. We’re starting early to enjoy the afternoon daylight and finishing before the evening chill. The picnic is open to expats, Japanese locals, internationals, travellers, students, remote workers and anyone interested in meeting people in Tokyo. Most attendees come alone, including many people joining TESC for the first time. You don’t need to bring a friend, prepare an introduction or be particularly outgoing. There’s no formal networking or structured programme. Move between conversations, stay with one group, join a casual game or simply enjoy being outside with others.
