Meet the Abbot of iMONASTERY Chiang Mai – Dhamma Talk & Guided Meditation Join us for a rare opportunity to meet Venerable Dr. Narongchai Thanajayo, the Abbot of iMONASTERY (International Forest Monastery), Chiang Mai, Thailand. Whether you're new to meditation, curious about Buddhism, or looking for greater peace and clarity in your life, this afternoon offers a welcoming space to learn, reflect, and experience meditation in a supportive environment. Before becoming a Buddhist monk, Venerable Dr. Narongchai had an international career in technology, lived and worked in the United States for nearly a decade, and later served at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels. He holds postgraduate degrees in Computer Information Systems and Religion & Development, as well as a Ph.D. in Peace Studies. Since ordaining in 2007, he has dedicated his life to sharing meditation and timeless Buddhist wisdom with people from all backgrounds.
