About this event

Adults, Seniors, Teens. Do you have a topic or interest that you are a passionate expert in that you wish more people knew about? The Pitch Pitch stage is yours for 5 to 8 minutes! Send us your (Powerpoint) pptx slide deck for this low-key social event of curated slideshows. Please note though, this is not a program about pitching your friend, save that for another event. From December 6th-10th, 2026, the VPL is open for your submissions: Send your PowerPoint (pptx) slide deck (approximately 6-10 slides) to [email protected] - use the subject line: Pitch Pitch Submission. This will give you plenty of time to get something together and you will be notified if your submission is successful by December 11th, 2026. Attendees and potential presenters, please register and join in for a fun creative, positive afternoon with knowledgeable and passionate people. There will be time to socialize, play games, and to enjoy some light refreshments too. Registration is not required to attend, but it helps us anticipate attendance and send a reminder the day before the event, or any updates about this event. --- Accessibility: VPL is committed to making our programs accessible for all. If you have an access need that we have not addressed here, please email us at [email protected]. Elevator access to the Alice MacKay is available in the concourse near the bank machine. The Alice MacKay Room has wheelchair accessible spaces available. Alternate styles of seating may be available, if you require another type of chair, please email us. For more information on physical access, view the Accessibility information on the Central Library page.
